This memorial began with a simple but powerful mission: to make sure no fallen officer’s sacrifice is ever forgotten. After serving as a police officer for 30 years, I witnessed firsthand the heartbreak that comes with losing colleagues and friends in the line of duty. I saw the deep impact it had on families, departments, and entire communities. That experience led me to create something meaningful, something that would give people a place to remember, reflect, and honor those who gave their lives to protect others. I spent a year carefully crafting this memorial, hand-sandblasting each officer’s image onto granite panels to create a lasting tribute that could travel to those who needed it most.
